The World’s Largest Certified Data Warehouse
Massive 1-Petabyte Data Warehouse Combines Structured and Unstructured Data
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – September 5, 2007
– BMMsoft today announces the publishing of an
independent study by InfoSizing (www.sizing.com) certifying the BMMsoft ServerSM application, Sybase®IQ analytics server,
Sun SPARC® Enterprise M9000 server running the Solaris 10™ Operating System (OS) and Sun StorageTekTM 6540 arrays, as the World’s Largest Data Warehouse
at Sun’s Enterprise Technology Center (ETC) in Menlo Park.
The certification involved loading fully-indexed transactions, full-text searchable emails and documents in a Data Warehouse solution at the rate
of 250 Billion transactions, 150 Million documents, and 50 Million emails per day. The daily total was an impressive 30 TB of data.
